Fonds Kirchberg

The Fund Kirchberg holds a collection of works of art in the public space, belonging to the program of the reorientation of urban planning initiated since the beginning of the 1990s, and wishes to promote the subject particularly this year. The majority of artistic works come from institutions established in Kirchberg, but when the Urbanization Fund considers that a work would have a considerable influence on the public artistic landscape, it can decide to invest its own funds in it. As a public establishment, the Fund integrates concepts within the framework of the "artistic 1%" of public buildings, which often turn out to be places of passage so that art can be made visible to a large number of people. As part of the Private Art Kirchberg, guided tours will be organized, free and without registration, around the pieces positioned in the public space.
