Art Collection Deutsche Börse

In 1999 Deutsche Börse started to collect contemporary photography. Art Collection Deutsche Börse now includes more than 900 works by over 90 artists.
Open to a variety of themes, subjects range from landscape, architectural works, interiors and urban settings to portraits. The heart of the collection consists of series by students from the Becher master class of the Dusseldorf Art Academy: A. Gursky, A. Hütte, C. Höfer, T. Ruff, J. Sasse and T. Struth. Works by a younger generation also stand next to classics of the genre. The Collection is part of the Group’s culture, reflecting its values: creativity, transparency and innovation.

The collection is continually being expanded and new acquisitions and re-hangings of existing works create ever new and exciting staging - thus keeping the presentation of the Collection stimulating and inspiring.
