Banque LBLux began accumulating its modern art collection in 1994. The concept, entitled "Works on Paper", was developed by Professor Gallwitz. The heart of the collection consists of art from the younger and middle-aged generations. The collection today comprises approximately 300 works by artists primarily from Germany. Some of the works were produced by very young artists, but some well-known artists, such as Jörg Immendorf, A.R. Penck, Günther Förg and Igor Sacharow-Ross,are also represented.
This year LBLux provides an exhibition of Josiane Marschal and offers a workshop for kids where they have the possibility to paint together with the artist.
