The collection of contemporary art of Deutsche Bank Luxembourg was especially brought together for the new building as designed by the famous German architect Gottfried Böhm and finished in 1991. The building surrounded on its outside by sandstone pillars welcomes its visitors inside with a spacious, open and translucent hall topped by a spectacular glass dome. Today’s art is omnipresent in the open office zones as well as in the secluded areas. Within the Deutsche Bank Group the collection in Luxembourg is quite unique with regard to the interaction between art and architecture. Our commitment is based on the conviction that art displayed in the bank as part of our culture and as a major element of our society should be directly accessible to staff, customers and visitors alike.
Deutsche Bank Luxembourg’ art collection presents works by Georg Baselitz, A.R. Penck, Markus Lüpertz, Günther Förg, Imi Knoebel, Michael Wesely, Katharina Sieverding, Emil Schumacher, Fernand Roda and many other artists.
