Le Fonds Kirchberg présente un choix d’images de la campagne photographique de 2005-2006. “Etat des lieux” comme son nom l’indique, permet de mesurer les transformations sur le Plateau depuis les chantiers jusqu’à l’achèvement des extensions de la Cour Européenne de Justice et de la BEI par exemple. Depuis, le Fonds a entrepris un nouveau volet : photographier des bâtiments qui disparaissent pour laisser la place à des installations plus performantes (Centre Albert Wagner, annexes de la Tour Alcide De Gasperi). Le Fonds allie ainsi documentation historique et regard personnel des photographes via un medium majeur de notre temps : la photographie.

Les auteurs des prises de vue sont Paul Casaer, Pierre Filliquet, André Mailänder et Jo Tomassini.

The Fonds Kirchberg shows a serie of pictures of the photographic campaign realised in 2005-06. “Etat des Lieux” underlines the transformations on the Kirchberg Plateau from the building of the European Court of Justice and the EIB extensions to their achievement. Since, the Fonds has documented a new stage of the evolution of the Plateau: buildings are disappearing as they are replaced by more performant ones (Centre Albert Wagner, annexes of the Alcide De Gasperi Tower). The Fonds combines this way historical documentation and the artistic point of view of authors via the photography as a major medium of our time.

Der Fonds Kirchberg präsentiert eine Auswahl der Fotografien aus den Jahren 2005-06. Wie der Titel “Etat des Lieux” bereits andeutet, erlaubt die Ausstellung die Wahrnehmung der Verwandlung des Kirchberg durch die Dokumentation der Erweiterung des Europäischen Gerichthof und der EIB, von der Baustelle bis zur Fertigstellung. Seitdem ergänzt der Fonds seine fotografische Archivierung durch eine weitere Facette: die Dokumentation der Gebäude die abgerissen werden und durch neue ersetzt werden (Centre Albert Wagner, Hintergebäude des Alcide De Gasperi Turms).

So verbindet der Fonds, miit Hilfe der Fotografie als wichtiges Medium unserer Zeit, die zeitgeschichtliche Dokumentation und der persönliche Blick der Fotografen Paul Casaer, Pierre Filliquet, André Mailänder und Jo Tomassini.
